 The Morrow Branch Library

The Morrow Civic Woman’s Club (MCWC) began in 1962 as the Morrow Junior Woman’s Club. Since 1975, members have been saying that our club’s BIGGEST contribution was the establishment of the Morrow Branch Library in Clayton County, Georgia. This success story has been repeated over the years; however, the Clayton County Library System (CCLS) and nearly everyone else did not know about our involvement.

Well, that’s about to change! On January 25, 2025, the video of our club’s efforts in spearheading a drive to establish a fourth Library Branch in CCLS premiered on the CCLS’s YouTube page. This video follows the first public announcement of our club’s role in the establishment of the Morrow Library Branch in 1975 on the CCLS History webpage.
